The piglins didnt purchase the items(gravel, spectral arrows.) from the builders and payed with gold, because piglins never give away their gold and piglins dont know what the value of those items(the items they collected from the dead builders) and thats why they give you a randome amouth of a randome item. After that the first trader(player) takes the payment and th etrade is complete. The second trader (piglin) inspects the goods (gold) takes it and leaves the payment (gravel, spectral arrows, blackstones, ender perls. The first trader (the player) leaves his goods (gold) at a spot and (usually) walkes away. The silent trade is a bartening, mostly used between traders that dont understand each others language and works like that: The builders perform the "silent trade" (thanks again to u/unorthodox_pianist): The piglins picked up the loot of the builders after killing them and now trade for gold with the player. They might have achieved to get their gold, but now live in a bastion remnant and live in war with the builders (even wither skeletons, the dead builders still fight them).Īfter that defeat, the builders made a new structure from a new material, a well protected fortress made of nether bricks and they made sure to not put much gold in it, so they dont make the piglins curious. But the piglins were too aggressive, their attack was so powerfull it destroyed the bastions almost completely. The builders in the bastions, outnumbered and tired(you cant sleep in the nether) lost their lives in the attack and were defeated by the piglins. They united their forces and launched an attack at the bastions. Those piglins were greedy warrior pigs that were jealous of the gold, the builders stored in their bastions. The builders brought pigs to the nether for food and built stables for them(later hoglin stables).Ī group of pigs escaped while the builders were still exploring the nether, ate the nether wart and later evolved into piglins. They then started collecting the valuable metal in the nether, gold. When the builders first entered the nether, they first built structures with blocks they knew(blackstone is a stone and they already used stone in the overworld). Story of the bastions:(Edit: this part is outdated!) Piglins cant use chests, if they could, they'd wear the diamond armor if they could open chests, so they we'rent the ones that put the loot in the chests.Īnd the magma spawner is something that only the builders could have placed there(they already have spawners in the stronghold and the fortress) You might argue that the piglins probably killed some builders and took the loot to the chests in "their" bastions but no. Enchanted diamond armor, the only other place where you can find such loot is the end city(which was clearly built by the builders). If thats not enough proof than the loot in the treasure room is. They are made of blackstone bricks(the same material as the ruined portals in the nether). The builders' main building block was brick (thanks to u/unorthodox_pianist for discovering this). Stone bricks, prismarine bricks, nether bricks and endstone bricks. The builders were a civilization that made most of the structures in minecraft(strongholds, igloos, ocean monuments, ocean ruins, ruined portals, fortresses and end cities.Īll those structures where made of BRICKS. There are four different types of bastions: the treasure room(with enchanted diamond armor in its chests and a magma cube spawner), the hoglin stables, the housing units and the bridge(bastion that looks like a giant piglin) Theory made by u/taranimus-tth and u/unorthodox_pianist
